Enable Input Monitoring

  1. Open KHYTHM and choose Open Permission Settings.
  2. Enable KHYTHM under Privacy & Security > Input Monitoring.
  3. Reopen KHYTHM if macOS asks for a restart, then refresh the status.

Reset a stale permission

  1. Remove KHYTHM from the Input Monitoring list.
  2. Open KHYTHM again and add the current app when prompted.
  3. Confirm the app reports Active & Tracking.

Manage local data

Settings > Data includes safe aggregate export, local backup creation and restore, history retention, ignore rules, optional local encryption, and a reset action.

Send diagnostics safely

Diagnostic logging is off by default. When enabled, KHYTHM can prepare a safe status report and open an editable email draft. It never sends the message automatically and excludes typed content.

Private support form

Send a private request through our Tally support form. It asks only for the minimum information needed to reply. Only attachments you actively choose are sent to Tally and stored with the submitted request.

Before contacting support

Include your KHYTHM version, macOS version, and permission status. You may attach reviewed screenshots or a KHYTHM-generated safe diagnostic report. Never include typed content, passwords, private documents, full keyboard logs, file paths, URLs, window titles, or unrelated files.

Does KHYTHM record what I type?

No. KHYTHM stores local aggregate activity, not typed text, passwords, document content, URLs, or file paths.

Why does it need Input Monitoring?

macOS requires this permission for listen-only keyboard event observation. KHYTHM cannot grant the permission itself and does not alter input.

Where is my data?

Statistics are stored locally on your Mac. Export, backup, share, and diagnostic actions require an explicit click.

How much history is available?

Basic defaults to 90 days. PRO can use one-year or permanent local aggregate history.

Is PRO already a real purchase?

The current local preview uses an isolated test entitlement. The public release is planned as a one-time Mac App Store purchase.
